Uschi Bio

Uschi has been working with clay since 1976. In 1978 she was apprenticed to Fred Wilson of the "Muddy Wheel" for two years. During 1985, she established her studio "Of Earth and Fire" which quickly became a focal point for pottery connoisseurs and a discovery of the arts center for the local children. She has taught at the Bradbury Science Museum in Los Alamos, New Mexico and has been a leading/founding member of galleries in Santa Fe and Taos.

The Rotary Club International and private collectors have eagerly sought commissions of her work which appears in private collections throughout the United States and Europe.
